Why, God?
Why, God?
Why do I smile at your words
and not follow your actions?
Why don’t I listen to Gospels,
but sing to the song?
Why do you stick to my hand,
While I suddenly lose traction?
Why do you stay so much,
but I disappear so long?
Why do you worship a God,
you don’t even see?
Why do you pray-
like he’s listening?
Why is the door locked,
when you hold the key?
Why do you close your eyes,
while you need them to see?
Why do you fret?
For nothing is wrong.
Why don’t you follow-
my footsteps, my Word?
Why don’t you trust,
my power is strong.
Put yourself to rest.
You’re safe in my arms.

I wrote this poem to portray what most people feel about faith. Faith is so hard to have, and people forget that they're not alone in this battle.
