Purist Light
I find so many pages of beautiful,
sad,
angry,
struggle filled,
painful writing,
but so little brightness,
hope,
and happiness.
I wonder,
is it because negative emotions are just stronger,
or are positive emotions so much less common?
We view negative emotion as something horrible and yet,
it surrounds us.
It inspires to create master pieces of art,
insightful writing,
and dominates with it’s presence.
But the harm that comes from it,
war, death, pain.
Joy and happiness allow us to live in the now,
excited or relaxed,
content with the exact present moment.
I think the real reason people write more pain and anger and sadness
is because it’s hard to process
and extremely complex.
Happiness at the core is simple,
content,
smiles,
and love.
It is so amazing and pure,
it cannot be described.
It can only be enjoyed in the moment.
As it’s meant to be.

Writing is a beautiful way of processing and sharing our lives. Because most negative emotions are complex, you find a lot of writing about it. However when someone is happy they're more likely to go and share it with the other people who are there with them and because positive emotions alone tend to be simple we don't linger on them the way we do with negative emotions, therfore there is less writing about it.
