Mom-
I’m sorry that I’m not what you expected
You don’t have to ensure me that you love me all the time
No one loves anyone all the time
You know that more than anyone
What I'm saying is that I’m sorry
I know I’m not ideal
But I’m trying
I promise.
Thank you for being patient
Thank you for being honest
Thank you for loving me
I love you.
I’m sorry for testing your patience
I’m sorry for testing your honesty
I’m sorry for testing you all together
You are my anchor
You are my everything
Without you,
I wouldn’t be alive
And yeah everyone says that to their mom
But in all honesty, I wouldn’t.
You keep me going
You keep me grounded
Sorry for not being the best
But I’m trying
I promise.
