I Am Not a Poet

A poet is
Mind and soul
Emotions and heart
Expressionist of self.
Non conformist,
Free of restrictions,
Boundless by their bonds,
Liberated through lyricism.
Complex or simple phrasing
But always deep in sentiment,
Turn the mirror inwards
Until it's shattered.
I only mastered the technical.
So what am I,
Save a pen with a brain?
