Living is but a prelude to dying
Or has death been a precede to life

Have we not come from oblivion
A world unknown, unchartered?
A world of which we're unaware?
Have we not come from non existence?

Our lives are not long
Not more than a grain of sand in the vast deserts of the earth
In the face of eternity it is but a second

Life is a test to those who believe
A prison for the believers
a hell for those who don't believe

This life is a journey
Travellers are we
A future we look forward to
An eternal life of glee

An existence in paradise
Willed in our prayers
A world wherein we're equal
A world full of light

Towards paradise we work
In actions of the day
We pray and plead yearn and beg
To get the best on that day

May the lord guide us
May he fill our graves with light
May he protect us every step of the way
And lead us to the right

This Life is miniscule
This life is ending
Paradise is eternal
It's everlasting...
