He tries to keep me unconscious
Away from the currents of who I eye over
I take consistent strains to help me remain as myself
But the sanitized needles resist the urge to reunite with light
So these signals enter my body’s telephone wires
Pulling and seeping through the foliage
Intrusion paves a foundation of charcoal black pavement
And makes the mind brittle, allowing substances to merge through
I can try to set up route signs to falsify him
With the only strength I have in this state, of course
But his dark hand exists, and keeps pushing my head back down
It’s like being frightful under redwoods, as arteries block flow of life
A dealing that can’t be refined by discounted bandaging
I can’t even see, but can imagine the distraught nature
The way the room’s mood shifts, as it occurs into the minds
The condition of a body, fractured within a collision
But wasn’t the one of blame, as I was kept next to him
Observing the constant faults of focus on his mind
Choosing to serve head-on to his problems, he leaves only shaken
Forgetting the twisted spread of red around glass shards
Only left another to experience
I know you’re in here, and I can feel you
A guilt extends out with swirling aromas of tar and whiskey
As it fills your organs with displeasure, you leave me defected
Organs without function, life with no completion
Some remorse would’ve eased a dying grudge
But no presence? Respect more to an infamous persona
Some forgiveness in existence leaves, as you seem to do
The sadness on your face is a temporary measure
Construction on my body, leaving the roads to permanently close
You find yourself in another collision
Within me
With what you can’t fix
