Favorite Quote:
"Your boat may get jostled, it may even drown; but if you believe, you'll sail forever." g.c.

I lie awake,
All day and all night.
The face I remember,
Invitingly clever,
Was the boy I’ve waited for my whole life.
His hair so smooth,
His eyes so calm,
And what a joyful smile.
How could I forget him?
How could I lose him?
I ruined our future,
Our love, our lives.
I sacrificed myself,
For his safety and mind.
But how could I know,
That his love was strong too.
And I was not the only one
Who’s mind was a zoo.
The disease hit fast.
The disease hit strong.
He was falling all alone.
The punch hit fast.
The punch hit strong.
I was falling all alone.
He restarted his love and his mind.
I was out of the picture,
Left far behind.
Now that I’m safe,
Now that I’m home.
His love has faded,
But mine still stands strong.
Love means sacrificing,
Yourself for the other.
Even if ends in disaster.
The disease hits fast.
The disease hits strong.
I fall all alone.
I lie awake,
All day and all night.
The face I remember,
Invitingly clever,
Is the boy I’ll wait for my whole life.
