My ears ring
let the word sing
as I hear
“Panda Express”
It’s life
It’s orange chicken
The world is free
And so is the
fried auburn hen
It’s life
It’s orange chicken
The sizzle of the grill
creates a crunchy
citrus nugget
It’s life
It’s orange chicken
The bites I take
will start to make me
weak, inspired, forgotten
It’s life
It’s orange chicken
The feast that I have acquired
Burns in my arteries,
like fire
as I sit there in pain,
the name in bane
It’s life.
It’s orange chicken.
