A Day On The Soccer Field
March 2, 2016
On a cloudy,
but nice day,
the brisk
fall air carries
the ball,
back and forth
until,
finally,
stopped
abruptly
by someone's body.
Passing the ball
with swift kicks
as it rushes
through the
soft,
natural,
green grass
on its way,
towards
the other side.
All of the sudden,
the ball swishes the back of the net
sometimes for
better,
sometimes for
worst,
and in high hopes,
that you walk away
happy.
