she’s pale white with brown and black spots
a crackle of thunder
crying and whining
a quick open of a door and she disappears
returns contaminated and disheveled
brown eyes that melt the soul
ears floppy, hair cruddy
marks of the Forest
wringing wet from the pouring rain
