365 Day Summer Afternoon  
A toasty summer afternoon 
Spent under the big blue sky
Crystal clear water lapping
Up onto the edges of the 90° pool
 
Our laughs and games die down
As an ominous cloud comes rolling in
Letting loose raindrops all around us
Filling the pool to the absolute high

We remain motionless
Listening intently for the rumble of thunder
Just the pitter patter of persistent rain
Falls from the foggy gray sky

With our safety confirmed
We swim in the rain
Smiling and splashing 
Just me and you

Afternoons like these 
Allow me to realize
How lucky I am to have a brother
As whimsical and incredible as you
