Staring at twigs
      blowing in the winter air
      gently rustling
               as though entering a restless sleep

Staring at a man
      standing, solitary on a street,
      quietly pacing
               as though escaping a restless sleep

Staring at a car
      snow-covered, driving in circles
      aimlessly wandering
               as though existing in a restless sleep
