Try to speak
But no words come out
You’re tired and weak
Are you filled with doubt?
You’re legs are pinned
And you are stuck
If you hadn’t left
You could have avoided the truck
The phone is out of reach
So there’s no way to call
You scream and you screech
But there’s no one at all
You know it’s the end
You’ve run out of hope
There’s too much pain to mend
I guess it’s time to mope.
Suddenly there’s a glow
And an out-reached hand
The free you from below
You’ve been saved by your future husband.
