Time is a Mystery

Time traps us.
It holds us by our throats
until we can't touch the ground below.
The thing that can't be beat and can't be destroyed.
Time is what destroys us.
Going through life unaware of what it can do to us.
Time takes people away and
holds onto the words that were never said.
We worry about what it will do to us and we stress and cry,
But can it be the thing saving us?
Can time save us from a dying earth and a bad life?
Time is a mystery.
