I love you--the day you stopped smiling was the day I started screaming.

Love, sacrifice of self.

Love is more a scream than a whisper, more a smile than a deceptive magnetic attraction.

You crept up into my life like vines on a wall, and you were always there when I never needed you.  Strangely, I always had this instinctive feeling that we were somehow connected, that each of our existences depended upon the other.

I came to know your existence, and it was bliss.  All I remember is a constant chain of euphoria, because even through The Dark Days (as I have come to refer to those days which haunt my nightmares), you became the embodiment of hope and gave me strength for my battle.

But now I have to argue worsening ravage, in which the vitality is gone.

Okay, I stand corrected. Forget my last comment. Your correction to my sloppy incorrect statement makes sense now. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Woah woah woah, back up. Back up. Lust has absolutely nothing to do with love. Love is right here, and lust is stuffed in a paper bag, which is shoved into a suitcase, padlocked, and rocketed off into another galaxy with aliens and whatever else lives on some vague form of inter-galactic terrain. Lust is the exact OPPOSITE of love, just like white is all light and black is the absense of light. Love=God. Lust=takes place with absense of God.

Ah yes, you need Hope for Love as Love needs Hope. Lust is basically Love that has lost its Hope and can't be called Love anymore.

The sequel to this poem, if you so desire to call it thus, Out of the Dark Days, ties hope into this given definition of love. I would encourage you to just remember that if you can find hope, it's love; if the hope is gone, then it must be lust.

I must have been confused with lust. thanks for correcting me. Love is always good, always unselfish and everlasting while lust is selfish and has a limited lifespan.

It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready. I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.
~Hugh Laurie

No. Just no. Love is always good. If it wasn't, it would be called selfishness. There may at times be some parts of love that are inconvenient for you or that you may not like, but that does not make it bad.

I just want to say that I think what the author of this article is trying to say is that love is always good, and when it is bad, it's not actually love. Idk, I just kind of got that from the "more a smile than a deceptive magnetic attraction." I also want to say that love doesn't exactly define us, more like Love created us. And I, personally, have never wished love to be gone. Just sayin'.

I love how this poetry defines love without being biased on the good or bad sides of it. Love can be good- Toward family and friends. And unwelcome and comes at the time you are not ready. Love is bad nor good; Love is love. Love defines what us human beings are on this world, whenever we desire it or wish it to be gone.
