Your Words
your words
they hurt
like slices
in my
skin.
your words
are your
weapons
and
you use
them
to stop me
I tell
myself
they are just words
but
it doesn't
help.
they still
make me
bleed
where it hurts
most of all.
you turn them
against me
but maybe
just maybe
they were
supposed
to protect
you
from what
I can
say
or do
or did.
