Your voice is powerful
Speak up and out
To the world
Who didn’t like your ideas
Who thought you were wrong
Everyone has a voice
They don’t always choose to use it
Use it for the world
Use it to save all of us
From the evil that lies within
Write
Let your pencil find its way
Across the page
Leaving words strung together
Your words
You
You are powerful
Is it up to you
Words
Strong and weak
Long and short
Bold and quiet
Use your words
Speak them
You’ll never know
What you’re capable of
Unless you

I was inspired to write this poem because I feel like there are so many things people wish they had said, but don't have the courage to say. I want people to know that they're not alone, everyone has times like that. It's not just speaking, it can be just being nervous to do anything. Hopefully this piece will inspire them to do it.
