A lonely black silhouette
stands out against
a swirling, vibrant mess
of foreign colors.

A jagged figure,
unsure of its own form
or significance,
is dropped into a twinkling sea
of blinding stars.

It desperately twists and turns-
mending itself-
trying to blend
with the beautifully abstract beings
that engulf its surroundings.

But, hard as it try,
it can not conform.

The atmosphere feels too bright-
too alive-
against its black silhouette.
