Simply, proud
Proud he said,
Of the girl you love.
The girl who is tough.
The girl who is sweet,
And the girl who has never given up
On you.
Proud she said,
Of the girl holding your hand.
The one who is smart.
The one who is beautiful,
And the girl who’s smile stays
On you.
Proud he says,
Of the one I love.
The one who makes me laugh.
The one who will be there,
And always hold on
To me.
Proud she is,
Of the boy she found.
The boy who is strong,
The boy who is kind,
And the boy she’ll never let go of
For us.
