Reasons for Goodbye

because my days are full of anxiety
and because my nights are spent in tears
I’m leaving
because of what has happened
and because of what has been said
I’m leaving
because I can’t handle it anymore
and because I shouldn’t have to
I’m leaving
for myself
and for my future
I’m leaving.
