The dream is gone,
as they come they simply go.
They are like the snowflakes,
delicate, and gone to warmth.
The warmth spoken of is love,
the ever present curse.
The warmth takes the snowflake,
and destroys it.
It is not done intentionally,
though it may seem so.
The warmth only has wishes,
to give feelings of hope.
There are consequences from this,
those that take the snowflake away.
It melts into nothing,
appearing as a tear.
The snowflake cannot be,
for as long as there is warmth.
For the two are opposite,
controlling two things.
The heart beats in warmth,
but the snowflake on the mind.
Letting one of the two go,
frees both.
But leaves heavy on the heart,
or mind depending on the choice
It is what will decide fate,
and fate alone needs a choice.
To love leaves one warm,
happy and with feeling.
To dream leaves one hopeful,
it gives them reason.
The choice is hard to make,
the choice is that destroys.
Many have tried both,
yet failed.
The only way to do it is,
dream of love.
