The Beautiful Days to Come

It’s April already.
Not just any April day,
But April 3rd.
And today is a good day.
It’s a beautiful day,
Because it’s raining and
There were bagels and
Ginger tea made by a
Kenyan woman.
And because he is
Talking to me.
He’s telling me he
Loves me,
That I will be okay,
That I will be
Something,
I will change the world, and
There will be so many more
Beautiful days to come
For me.
