Broken wooden frames, cracked
Glass shatters innocent floors.
Shards penetrate soulless shoes,
Leaving bitter, pungent trails of red, lifeless blood.
Yet suddenly, soft baby fingertips gently cores my fragile skin,
As my vision fades, to an endless field of darkness.
Grasping unforgotten, horrific memories.
Fading out, unable to feel life in my body.
Standing over what used to be a brilliant girl,
Silhouette cold, shattered, no longer breathing crisp air.
Floating through thickening darkness.
Holding on tight to fading memories,
Listening to dense tears hushing, as quiet glowing lights break through gloomy clouds.
Coming through shimmering gold,
Figures await my arrival.
Reaching out to open my new life.
Visiting with passed relatives, smothering with love,
Until your cry beckons me down.
Saving you, helping you through traumatizing days,
I shall be your life, until you can take no more,
Guiding you up, together once more,
Guarding my next Angel.
