Is it the leaves falling ?
Or the thin air ?
Is it the yelling kids on Halloween ?
Or the smell of turkey on Thanksgiving ?
Is it the first flurry of snow in December ?
Or is it the cheer of people on New Year’s Eve ?
Is it the ten second count down to a new year ?
Or the first fish you catch in spring ?
Is it the first baseball game you have ?
Or the first home run you hit ?
Is the first splash in the pool you splash ?
Or is it the seeing your little brother walk for the first time ?
Is it his first word ?
Or his first smile ?
What makes you happiest in life ?
I know mine,
But do you know yours ?
