Finding Love in a World of Hatred
In a world of heartbreak,
strange sounding instruments,
put together,
will create a beautiful song.
And when a teenage boy,
who is struggling to find his way,
hears that song,
he will fall in love.
In a world of cruelty,
a mother caught up in her own battles,
left her newborn on the streets,
without nurture and care.
And when another woman,
who is incapable to conceive her own,
discovers that newborn,
she will fall in love.
In a world of death,
a bold, yellow flower,
stood alone,
in a field of wilted weeds.
And when that girl,
who was bullied today,
picks that flower,
she will fall in love.
In a world of illness,
silver, twinkling stars,
glow bright in a sky of darkness,
illuminating the path to Heaven.
And when an old man,
who is fading from cancer,
finds that path,
he will fall in love.
In a world of anger,
a beautiful girl,
locked eyes with a boy,
flashing him a shy smile.
And when that frustrated boy,
who is a misfit in high school,
sees that smile,
he will fall in love.
In a world of hatred,
every person,
including you,
has hardships.
You are a human,
who is unique and special,
and each of your hardships will vanish,
when you allow yourself to fall in love.
