I'm not a poet

I'm not a writer

I'm just a teenager

Who uses words

To scream out her feelings

In order to hush her demons

 

I'm not a poet

I'm not a writer

My words aren't beautiful

The words I use are full of secrets

Secrets that laden me down to hell

 

I'm not a poet

I'm not a writer

I just can't seem to fall asleep
