I see it everywhere
                                               In my dreams
                                             In my own truth
                                                 In myself
                          It lives in the deepest parts of my mind
                                   consuming my innocence
                         No matter where I go its shadows follow
                                        I keep asking myself
                                       Why does it follow me?
                                            Why only me?
                                           As it stalks me 
                       its perseverance drives a dementia within me
                           My own self-awareness begins to fade
                              I can’t recall who I am anymore
                          As the walls of solitude try to crush me
                                           so does my ego
                          I had seen the monster in utter torment
                                          Don’t look at me
                                       Don’t try to find me
                    The chains that bind me quickly became tighter
                              My heart is being overtaken by it         
                            The me I was quickly became the monster
                                          That was inside me
