Bubble gum is my life,
It grows, and all is well,
For a moment I am happy-

And then it gets too big.

Before it inevitably goes,
For a split second,
I wonder,
why I set myself up
To be let down.

And then it pops.
And I've got a sticky mess to clean up.

Cool metaphor. I really like it! Great work. My only criticism of the piece would be formatting. The way the lines are broken up, it doesn't flow as well as it could. Other than that, the storyline is great, and the imagery is good.
