Eat Your Cereal
Eat your cereal, and eat it well.
Because it kick-starts the brain.
The more of it you eat,
The more of you we drain.
We stuff it down your throat,
But it’s up to you to digest.
We’ll encourage you to do so.
We’ll even help you: test.
Don’t let the theories you’ve been taught
Sit in the bowl and get soggy.
Swallow them without thinking;
While they still taste yummy.
We’re all out of your milk of choice,
The one that’s labeled, “Proof;”
Just focus on the spoonfilled train.
Here it comes, “Chew, chew!”
Make it a happy bowl, and sup.
And whatever you do, don’t dare throw up.
