Monster of Thoughts

A monster of thoughts lay beside me in my bed.
It tried to persuade me to give up.
I was in denial.
I looked for someone to help me,
but nobody did.
They kept ignoring me.
The monster is right.
I'm nothing.
I turned to the monster.
"I give up."
