Just a Dream

Sitting in the October valley,
Gazing at the sky,
Waiting for the one,
To come and say “Hi.”,
You wait and wait,
But no one comes,
You soon get up,
Brushing the leaves off,
You turn around, sitting there before you,
The one and only person you wish would say “Hi.”
They open their mouth, nothing comes out.
You wake up in your room,
Sigh,
It was just a dream.
A…. Quiet… Dream…
