Harsh Times
Today, I saw my friend gets shot,
he bled on the grass,
He clutched his chest,
his body shuddered with chills,
his mouth open in a plea for death,
I screamed help,
no one came.
Tomorrow, I found my mother with a needle shot,
a frozen smile on her wrinkled face,
she stared at the ceiling,
with a needle in her scabbed arm,
white powder in other sickly hand,
her dull brown eyes were glassy and happy,
I called ambulance
It took her away.
Yesterday, I carried my daughter to her grave,
she died the minute she came out of my womb,
her sweet howls silenced by a weak heart,
frantic Doctors tried to save her,
pumping oxygen into her heart,
I shouted for my interpreter,
It was too late,
her life ceased before she could open her eyes.

I was in a mood for sad things. I wanted to write from a different perspective and sad circumstances that happen to people in real life.
