Colorful Language
Hello, says Yellow
(Somewhat sarcastically though).
You too, says blue
(With suspicion, too).
Utters red,
I find neither well-bred
(Such a saucy talking head!)
Now now, admonishes brown
(With a gracious half-frown)
No need for such put-downs
This company for kindness lacks
Decries black
(Alack! He too's a sad sack!)
I AM THE LIGHT, Cries White
(Though only his voice shines so bright)
***
Night falls upon them
And condemns their petty bickering
To cease until dawn's break.
