September Eleven.
The sunny sky suddenly turned gray,
All I can see is smoke across the bay.
Today is the saddest day.
I can feel tears falling along with that plane,
All there’s left is the pain.
Everything’s crashing down,
We can barely stand the sound.
They took their lives,
Why can’t they take the heartache as well?
I want to scream to release the pain,
But who could I possibly tell?
We’ll never forget how those towers fell.
It was the saddest deal,
I just hope one day we can heal.
