Shadow

I have a friend,
Whose name is Shadow.
She’s very shy,
And hides a lot.
But I love Shadow.
She plays games with me outside.
Shadow doesn’t like to come in.
I tried to let her follow me inside,
And she hid again.
But I still love Shadow.
Shadow doesn’t like the dark.
If I stand in the shade,
She hides again..
I guess she’s great at hide not seek.
But I’ll always love Shadow.
I’ve always wondered why Shadow’s so quiet.
Was it something I said?
I tell her all my secrets.
But sometimes I wonder,
Does Shadow love me?
