I stand
And feel the wind
Take a drag.
A nice, long, cool
Rush of freedom
That beckons today
From tomorrow’s grasp.
I take the whole
Of my existence
Through my nostrils,
And feel time’s mythology.
The breadth of life
Is in this breath.
