The Glow
When did we get to the point where all we do is stare?
tweeting,
snapchatting,
gramming,
vining.
When did these applications replace friends?
Why would you text those away and ignore those here?
updating,
following,
checking,
scrolling.
You miss the subway because you're looking down,
and then the friends sitting with you at coffee.
texting,
messaging,
chatting,
skyping.
Where will it end?
When will you notice it's not okay to stare at the glow, instead of enjoying the party?
missing,
avoiding,
distracting,
losing.
When did the glow,
become more important,
than life?
