As I walk through dark halls,
I see students stop and stare.
I am beginning to learn,
I have done no wrong.
In classrooms I sit alone,
Feeling left out, lost, not knowing where I belong.
I pretend hurtful notes left for me,
Are just words scribbled on a paper.
The chair in the corner is the one I call mine;
Teachers put me there...
The pens scratching vile words won't hurt me more than they already do.
Their actions scare me,
The words burn through my thoughts,
But I stay strong.
I walk with my head up high, hiding my pain
My fears, my feelings,
As if I am a wall.
Unable to be broken down.
