Stars
Sitting.
Just sitting.
Not texting or checking your phone, but sitting.
Look Up.
Look at the stars in the sky.
The twinkling lights above you.
The same stars millions of other people are looking at too.
But yet,
everyone who looks,
sees them differently.
to some they're balls of heat,
to others they are just light,
to your neighbor they are their former family,
but to me,
they're perfection.
They're pure and beautiful,
and not to please anyone,
but just because that's who they are.
They twinkle and glisten,
while you,
Look up.
Not texting or checking your phone, but sitting.
Just sitting
