God has never made a person he did not love.

When I was young

There was a song I sung

About ashes and ashes

My past is

The art on my canvas

When they call my name for attendance

I'll remain and empty seat

And with a last goodbye

The bottom of this building

Kisses my feet

The people with the brightest smiles had the hardest past. I was a mess without God.

This might be my new favorite poem. Amazing job. I love this line "When they call my name for attendance I'll remain and empty seat.".

This is beautiful. I also live in Queens! Wouldn't it be cool if we knew each other?

This is a beautiful poem. I am absolutely addicted to the end line itself... "The bottom of this building kissed my feet..." Marvelous, I'm in love with this piece!!!! :, )))) - True Love
