I loved this poem, great work! you really deserved the Editor's Choice for this! PS Selena, sorry, but e.e. cummings was a man, not a woman, and didn't follow any "rule" like you describe.

You kind of failed at copying e.e cummings. The words in the () are supposed to make a sentence that relates to the rest of the poem. like Loneliness (A leaf falls) by her.
This is a poem about growing up, written in the style of e.e. cummings.
