"I want to fix you." lit up my screen from three different boys, within an hour.
I am not an old car with rusty brakes.
I am a human being.
I am not something you and your father can fix me on the weekends in the garage.
I am not bonding time.
I am a human being.
I am not something your mother walks past, thinking about how it used to be.
I am not a leaky faucet.
I am a human being.
I am not a failed relationship.
I am not shattered glass and spilt liquor.
I am a human being.
I am not a hole in the wall.
I am not bruised knuckles.
I am a human being.
I do not want to be fixed.
I should not have to be.
If all I am to you is damaged goods, why would you want me?
