line my hallway shelves
toothpaste
forgotten
in my bathroom cabinet
peppermint twist
wilted clovers
in aged photographs
tucked away
in leather-bound books
green tea
sits in a glass bottle
in my fridge
unopened
apology notes
scribbled on the back
of water bottle wrappers
sit in a shoe box
under my bed
I wonder
when I’ll see you
again

Simple but brings a lot of pathos
Contrary to what you might think, this isn't about romantic type of love. I wrote this about siblings, and what it's like when they grow up and start to live seperate lives.
