A Hero
There once was a person
Whose life was so concealed
For no one ever saw
The things that he had healed
But when no one was looking
He helped a baby bird
That had fallen from a nest
That no one else had heard
When no one else was looking
This man planted a tree
It grew to be a hope
For all the world to see
When no one else was looking
He gave a homeless man his coat
And sat to talk with him
On a corner so remote
If you ever see this man
Please don't judge him anymore
Because he might be a hero
Deep inside his core
