you promised even more,
but never once
have you lived it through.
You said I was different.
Lie number one.
Were you even aware
of what you had done?
You said you loved me.
Lie number two.
You wouldn't have hurt me
leaving me without a clue.
You said things would be okay.
Lie number three.
You were never there
when I needed you to be.
I'm sorry, love,
but this is how it goes.
