"Never Give Up"

All she said
The day her family
told her she was dead,
dead to them.
Little did they know
people at school,
had already told her so.
All she said
was she already knew.
Her family looked at her
in disbelief,
shock in their eyes.
All she said,
was I already know.
Her family realised the mistake,
the mistake that they had made.
They realised it
before it was too late.
Her mom took her
later that day,
to meet with a woman
of whom she could confide in.
All she said
that day
was I know.
Thats all it took
for her family to know
that she needed help.
She had been bullied at school.
Her mom told her that
she had gotten her help.
Soon things started to get better.
Until the day her mom
found her diary under
her purple, feather pillow
She sat on the bed
and opened to the first page
She knew she shouldnt
but she began to read
All her daughter had wriiten
on the first off white page
In the prettiest hand writing
was
All She Said Is I Know.
Her mom started to realize
her daughter was trying
to tell them the whole time.
Her Therapy wasnt helping
she flipped page after page
they all said the same thing
All she said was
I know.
Her mom grabbed her keys
and ran to the car
She drove straight to
her daughters school.
She found her daughter
laying on the ground.
With bruises and
blood all over and stained
on her clothes.
She couldnt believe
what her eyes were seeing
Her daughter was laying there
all most life-less.
And none of the teachers
were aware.
Aware of the girl,
who sat in the back of the class.
Aware of the girl
who was always chosen last.
None of them were aware
that she was layiing in the grass
in front of the school
on that day,
Her mom looked around
everyone was moving in slow motion,
coming and going and
none of them where aware
that the mom and daughter were there.
She scooped her daughter up
and carried her to the car.
She put her in the backseat,
the Hospital wasnt that far.
She climbed into the driver seat,
and turned the key.
She threw the car in drive
and pushed her foot to the floor.
She made it to the hospital and ran in for help.
She stood still as she saw,
several nurses run past.
Someone yelled, get an OR ready stat,
she heard a male yell, Code Blue,
we need a crash cart.
She watched as they ran by,
her daughter on a gurnee.
She started to fall to the floor.
Before she hit the floor,
She looked up
and all she said was
I know babygirl, I know.
and then
she
hit
the
floor.
