They start to bicker
He hits her
And knocks down the picture
Along with her
He’s a bomb
With a short ticker
It must be the strong liquor
He clenches his palms
And grips her
He says, “Why do you make me do this?”
“Do you think I like being abusive?”
She refuses to respond
Then she utters, “Please be calm”
He leaves now he’s gone
She calls her mom
She tries to stay strong
She starts to cry
Her mom says, “What’s wrong?”
“Stay there, I won’t be long”
She hears the ding dong
At the door
Her mom walks in
And finds her daughter on the floor
Her eyes fills up with so much horror
Like someone watching gore
And starts packing up her drawers
Everything she ever wore and more
In four suitcases
Then took the route
To where her mom’s place is
He gets home
And can’t find a trace
Of where his wife is
He gets scared
He feels lifeless
He starts to realize his crisis
Because love is priceless
Someone took his treasure and pleasure
Maybe it was pirates
He looks outside
And the weather’s bad
He thinks back to when he hit her
And wish he never had
