We are dumping expensive tea
into oceans in the Boston Harbor
because we want to be free.
At the age of eight
I don’t know what I’m doing
and I await a scolding.
Back in England no one knew
what freedom would be like.
So they decided to reach across the seas.
And take me with.
The destruction
of this production
will lead to an outrage
over seas.
Why do we decide
to dump tea
into the sea of those who lied
to us, to me?
