me, and shoves me against
the wall lifting me. so high
leaving only the tips of my toes
touching the ground.

The one that gets so close
to me screaming and swearing
spewing tobacco all over
my face.

The one that wakes me up
for church by holding me
down and screaming at me so close
i can feel his nose against
mine and the spit splattering
on my face.

The one that pours
the beer bottle on
my head because it
was shaken up.

The one that when
i share the stories
they leave people speechless,

The one that people still call my father.
