The Darkness Within
Put a raincloud above my head and tell me to surrender.
Take my life into your hands and destroy it because I don’t have the guts to.
Bury me 6ft. under the ground, but do not cry at my funeral because this is for the best.
I am no longer a strong oak, but a wilting flower.
I cannot see the daylight anymore.
All I see is darkness.
It consumes me.
